Yesterday marked my 23rd year of life, a year that I will be spending in this wonderful country called Korea. How friggin’ lucky am?!!
And now that I have somewhat recovered from a crazy weekend of partying in Daegu for said birthday, I thought it was high time I showed you guys exactly where I’ll be living this year in our little town of Uiseong. I know how intrigued I was to know what a teacher’s apartment in Korea was like before I came. We have been incredibly lucky considering that some people literally get one room for all bedroom, living room, kitchen activities which I think may be down to being more rural. So, not being in a city has it’s advantages already!
Welcome to our homes…
Well that’s me! Pretty sweet for a guest English teacher as we aren’t living in the city with millions of other people needing space!
But. It is nothing compared to Oli’s apartment. I literally think it may be the nicest apartment in the whole of our little rural Korean town, Uiseong! Feast your eyes…
Happy times will definitely be had here for sure! We are actually pretty excited that we weren’t placed in a large city, being the country bumpkins we are! We are looking forward to seeing what rural Korea has to offer.
And quickly, to finish, here is a photo of the epic garlic bread we made in Oli’s great kitchen:
