Words by Jade
After finishing 9 months of non-stop travel in 2010, I returned home aching for the thrill of new adventures and experiences. Stuck in the UK completing my Bachelor’s in Psychology, my wanderlust found solace in the blogosphere.
I would devour travel blogs in any spare moment I had and begun to jot down my own memories from my days on the road. I quickly fell for writing the same way I had fallen for travel, wholly and completely.
Now, with a significant portion of my 20s sat in front of my laptop and travelling every chance I got, plus a little luck thrown in along the way, I have managed to build a career in writing.
Whether you’ve come here to learn about adventures in Korea, Vietnam or Europe or you’d like to find out how we can work together, I hope you enjoy what you read…

Each year at the end of another adventure-filled 365 days, I like to look back at the top journeys of the year. It's my little nod to the name of this blog and a lovely way to look at how far we've come. In 2014, our best journeys included a sunrise boat ride to...read more
In recent years, Oli and I have been trying our hardest to slow our travels down. Rushing through a country means you have less down time (exhausting), more time spent in transit (no fun) and everything begins to blur into one, which defies the point in visiting so...read more
We just got back from another incredible Vietnam visa run/birthday trip to Taiwan and it really got us thinking about making the most of the expat situation here in Vietnam. Chances are that if you are currently living in Vietnam as an expat, you may be doing so on...read more
